For this home's facelift, the homeowners started with our custom garage doors, and kept going, and going... !
BEHIND THE SCENES
GARAGE DOORS
Working with designer Jen Edwards-Hughes (Edwards-Hughes Renovation, Inc.), we designed simple but elegant garage doors that played off an existing (but unfinished) entry door.
GARAGE SERVICE DOOR
Because of its prominence, we also designed and built a matching garage service door, using the same hybrid wood/steel overlay process on our 7 Series garage doors. The result is an extremely well-insulated set of doors backed by our Limited Lifetime Warranty.
COPPER PATINA WOOD FINISH
Because Jen was using a lot of copper, we created a unique Copper Patina wood finish for the doors. Starting with a base color coat, we hand rubbed a glaze coat, giving the doors a multi-layered effect that is truly unique.
SHUTTERS
Once Jen and the homeowners saw the Copper Patina finish for the doors, they decided that the shutters would look great as well.
MAIN ENTRY DOOR
The existing fiberglass entry door was nice looking, but unfinished, so using a similar process, we created a Copper Patina finish for it too.
FLOWER BOXES
Also prominent were the flower boxes and our Copper Patina finish gave them a gorgeous, antique look.
SCREEN DOOR
Last but not least, even the screen door got the same finish treatment, creating a completely integrated look.
